Let us take you on a voyage of discovery through one of Australia's finest and oldest wine growing regions, where you will experience the unique and personal world of the creators of true local Hunter Valley wine, food and produce. Tours in the Vines offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy a private wine tasting at some of the best boutique wineries and spectacular cellar doors in the Hunter Valley region.  Tours in the Vines use smaller air-conditioned vehicles to ensure your tour is special and you get a more personal service.  Our experienced guide will collect and return you to your accommodation, allowing you to relax and indulge in these great wines and freshly grown local produce.

Our unique tours provide you with the opportunity to meet many of the growers and wine makers personally who will take you through a relaxed and informative journey of their vineyards & olive groves, boutique wines and produce. Experience the friendly hospitality and wealth of knowledge as you learn about the wine making process.  You will visit 4-5 fabulous boutique wineries offering premium award winning wines including a stop at a beautiful location with panoramic views for a leisurely lunch. Lunch options can range from cheese and antipasto platters, wood fired pizzas, tapas or a selection of restaurant menus.  We can even arrange BBQ or picnic packs. We also provide the opportunity to taste great olive oils & olive products, discover many other locally made delights. We finish the day at a little secret hideaway with the best views in the valley where you can sit back and enjoy a large cheese and produce platter with your final tasting.  - We look forward to taking you on an enjoyable and memorable day.......

Shared Tours 

On our "Tours in the vines" wine tour you will share the fun experience of the day with another small group.  We keep our group sizes small and intimate using vehicles that range from 8-25 guests only (no large coaches).

Full or Half Day Tours - $105 including all tastings, lunch and cheese and produce platter at the end of the day.

Exclusive Tours

​If you choose an exclusive tour you get an exclusive bus or vehicle for your group only.  The timing and program can be flexible to suit your requirements.  You can choose from a selection of four tours

Wine Tour - You will visit 4-6 fabulous boutique wineries offering premium award winning wines including a stop at a beautiful location with panoramic views for a leisurely lunch and end of day cheese and produce platter.  The price is inclusive of all tastings.

6-7 guests      $125 per person
8-9 guests      $115 per person
10-12 guests   $95 per person
13-15 guests   $90 per person
16-20 guests   $85 per person

Ladies Day Out -  Ours Ladies day out is not all about wine...its about having lots of fun..plenty of Bubbles and Vino, Chocolates and Cocktails.   Start the day with Bubbles and finish with a great Cocktail at Goldfish Cocktail Bar and have lots of wine, chocolate and cheese in between.  The Ladies Tour has an additional charge of $10 per head and includes a complete style champagne tasting at Petersons Champagne House with cheese and crackers, a free cocktail at Goldfish, lunch and a glass of wine with lunch,  chocolate covered strawberries or marshmallows and a chocolate tasting plate and cheese platter.

Foodies Day Out  -  Our special foodies day out is takes you to a selection of cellar doors but concentrates on produce, Cheese, Olive, Oils, chocolates and other locally made produce outlets.  The Foodies Tour has an additional charge of $15 per person and includes a more substantial lunch menu, all tastings and afternoon gourmet antipasto platter and cheese platter.  

Brewery & Winery - The Hunter is not all about wine.  We have a some fantastic local breweries for those who would like to mix it up a bit.  This tour will take you on a mix of cellar doors and breweries .  The Beer and Wine tour has an additional charge of $15 per person and includes  the Blue Tongue Brewery unique tasting paddle of 6 different beer and Hunter Beer Company brewery tour tastings of their Hunter Kolsch and Hunter Witbier.  This tour also includes lunch and end of day cheese platter.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A deposit of 50% of the full tariff is required on credit card when the booking is made to secure the booking. Payment of the deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.  Balance of the full amount must be received in full 14 days prior to the tour: - A full refund less a $30 administration fee is available if a booking is cancelled more than 14 days before the tour. The deposit payment will be forfeited if the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before the tour date. If the booking is cancelled less than 7 days before the tour or numbers reduce no refund is available.

Circumstances may require us to alter itineraries and fares without notice.  Tours in the Vines reserves the right to vary or cancel tours or part thereof due to weather, road closures or other circumstances beyond our control. Tours in the Vines will not be responsible or liable for death, injury or illness of any passenger or of any loss or damage to any property. Minimum passenger numbers may apply. The driver may at any time refuse to carry any person who in the drivers’ opinion exhibits unacceptable behavior.

Alcohol is not permitted to be consumed on the buses by order of the Department of Transport.
